Rasheen Kelly a father of two girls Born and raised in NYC often saw the children in his community in the soundview section of the Bronx using foul language and hanging out with the wrong crowd. Growing up in the community he knew that someone had to step up and try to make a change to try and save the youth before they end up in prison or dead.
From his words: " one day i was in front of my building and i heard a little girl having a conversation with her friend talking about things no child should be talking about and being a father of two young girls i wouldn't want my daughters talking that way and from there i knew something had to be done to start the process of change within my community so i opened up this program and we are now called The New York Special Force Cadets"
